1⃣عن مسعدة بن صدقة قال: قال أَبُوعَبْداللَّه إِنَّ اللَّعْنَةَ إِذَا خَرَجَتْ مِنْ صَاحِبِهَا تَرَدَّدَتْ بَیْنَهُ وَ بَیْنَ الَّذِی یُلْعَنُ فَإِنْ وَجَدَتْ مَسَاغاً وَ إِلَّا عَادَتْ إِلَی صَاحِبِهَا وَ کَانَ أَحَقَّ بِهَا فَاحْذَرُوا أَنْ تَلْعَنُوا مُؤْمِناً فَیَحِلَّ بِکُمْ

📚 Qorbu al-Isnad, p. 7

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: When a curse is issued from the mouth of the one who curses, it travels back and forth between him and the one who has been cursed. If it finds a passage and a way to pass through, it does so; otherwise, it returns to its owner. Therefore, the one who deserves the curse is more appropriate for it. So, be cautious not to curse a believer unjustly, as it may turn back upon you!

2⃣عن أبی حمزة الثمالی قال سمعت أبا جعفر یَقُولُ إِنَّ اللَّعْنَةَ إِذَا خَرَجَتْ مِنْ فِی صَاحِبِهَا تَرَدَّدَتْ فِیمَا بَیْنَهُمَا فَإِنْ وَجَدَتْ مَسَاغاً وَ إِلَّا رَجَعَتْ عَلَی صَاحِبِهَا

📚 Al-Kafi, vol. 2, p. 360

Abu Hamzah Thumali reported: I heard Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) saying: When a curse comes out of one's mouth, it travels back and forth between them. If it finds a way to pass through, it does so; otherwise, it returns to its owner!

✅ From the above narrations, it is evident that cursing someone who does not deserve it can result in the curse returning to the one who issued it. The undeserving person is not affected by the curse, so we must be extremely careful not to curse those who do not deserve it.

✅ However, if someone is proven to deserve a curse based on religious evidence, there is no need to refrain from cursing them. For example:

3⃣عن عَلِیِّ بْنِ مَهْزِیَارَ عَنْ أَبی جَعْفَرٍ الثانی علیه السّلام فی حدیث قال قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلی الله علیه و آله مَنْ تَأَثَّمَ أَنْ یَلْعَنَ مَنْ لَعَنَهُ اللَّهُ فَعَلَیْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللَّه

Imam Muhammad al-Taqi (peace be upon him) stated in a hadith: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) said, 'Whoever refrains from cursing someone whom Allah has cursed, divine curse be upon them!'

✅ By acting upon the above hadith, we can curse all those whom Allah has cursed.

4⃣عن أَبِی رِکَازٍ عن أَبِی عَبْداللَّهِ علیه السلام قال مَنْ قَالَ یَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ حِینَ یُصَلِّی الْغَدَاةَ قَبْلَ أَنْ یَتَکَلَّمَ اللَّهُمَّ مَا قُلْتُ فِی جُمُعَتِی هَذِهِ مِنْ قَوْلٍ أَوْ حَلَفْتُ فِیهَا مِنْ حَلْفٍ أَوْ نَذَرْتُ فِیهَا مِنْ نَذْرٍ فَمَشِیَّتُکَ بَیْنَ یَدَیْ ذَلِکَ کُلِّهِ فَمَا شِئْتَ مِنْهُ أَنْزَلْتَهُ یَکُونَ کَانَ وَ مَا لَمْ تَشَأْ مِنْهُ لَمْ یَکُنْ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِی وَ تَجَاوَزْ عَنِّی اللَّهُمَّ مَنْ صَلَّیْتَ عَلَیْهِ فَصَلَوَاتِی عَلَیْهِ وَ مَنْ لَعَنْتَ فَلَعْنَتِی عَلَیْهِ کَانَ کَفَّارَةً مِنْ جُمُعَةٍ إِلَی جُمُعَةٍ

📚 Jamal al-Usbu', p. 227

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: Whoever recites the morning prayer on Friday before uttering any words (other than the remembrance of Allah), a compensation for them will be granted from this Friday to the next Friday.

اللَّهُمَّ مَا قُلْتُ فِی جُمُعَتِی هَذِهِ مِنْ قَوْلٍ أَوْ حَلَفْتُ فِیهَا مِنْ حَلْفٍ أَوْ نَذَرْتُ فِیهَا مِنْهَا نَذْرٍ فَمَشِیَّتُکَ بَیْنَ یَدَیْ ذَلِکَ کُلِّهِ فَمَا شِئْتَ مِنْهُ أَنْ یَکُونَ کَانَ وَ مَا لَمْ تَشَأْ مِنْهُ لَمْ یَکُنْ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِی وَ تَجَاوَزْ عَنِّی اللَّهُمَّ مَنْ صَلَّیْتَ عَلَیْهِ فَصَلَوَاتِی عَلَیْهِ وَ مَنْ لَعَنْتَ فَلَعْنَتِی عَلَیْهِ

The supplication is as follows: 'O Allah! Whatever I have said or sworn this week, Your will encompasses all of them. So, whatever You will to be, will be, and whatever You do not will, will not be!

O Allah! Forgive me and overlook my sins!

O Allah! Whoever You have sent blessings and peace upon, my blessings and peace be upon them, and whoever You have cursed, my curse be upon them!'

✅ It is crucial to avoid mistakenly cursing someone who does not deserve it.

اللَّهُمَّ عَجِّلْ لِوَلِیِّکَ الْفَرَجَ وَ الْعَافِیَةَ وَ النَّصْر

✅ One of the recent widespread corruptions is the inclusion of music in religious video clips and the like! Unfortunately, some individuals, out of ignorance or with malicious intent, mix music with audio or video clips containing useful narrations, sermons, or the mention of the tragedies of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). Given the prohibition of music in Shia narrations, this has created significant corruption and turmoil among the religiously inclined people who use such clips.

✅ However, a few important points need to be mentioned:

⛔️ I warn individuals who include music in clips, and I ask you to warn them as well, to refrain from this major sin, not to mix right and wrong, and not to cause corruption for the lovers of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). Music, songs, and melodies have no place in the divine system of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and the radiant Islamic law.

⛔️ Individuals who come across these clips are not religiously permitted to listen to or share them for the sake of the religious content, as:

✅ عن عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِی الْمِقْدَامِ عن أَبِی جَعْفَر علیه السلام قَالَ: لَمَّا أَقْبَلَ أَمِیرالْمُؤْمِنِینَ علیه السلام مِنْ صِفِّینَ کَتَبَ إِلَی ابْنِهِ الْحَسَنِ عَلَیْهِ السلام ....مَا خَیْرٌ بِخَیْرٍ لَا یُنَالُ إِلَّا بِشَرٍّ

Amir al-Mu'minin (peace be upon him) wrote to his son, Imam al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him): ... No good comes from something that is not good!

This way, they avoid the wrath of Allah and do not fall into the trap of mixing right and wrong.
