✅ Answer: Consider the following narrations:

1⃣عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا قَالَ: سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ النَّوْمِ بَعْدَ الْغَدَاةِ فَقَالَ إِنَّ الرِّزْقَ یُبْسَطُ تِلْکَ السَّاعَةَ فَأَنَا أَکْرَهُ أَنْ یَنَامَ الرَّجُلُ تِلْکَ السَّاعَةَ.

📚 Al-Faqih, vol. 1, p. 501

Muhammad ibn Muslim reported: I asked Imam Baqir or Imam Sadiq (peace be upon them) about sleeping after the Fajr prayer. They said: Indeed, sustenance is distributed at that hour, so I deem it reprehensible for a person to sleep at that time!

2⃣قَالَ الصَّادِقُ نَوْمَةُ الْغَدَاةِ مَشْئُومَةٌ تَطْرُدُ الرِّزْقَ وَ تُصَفِّرُ اللَّوْنَ وَ تُقَبِّحُهُ وَ تُغَیِّرُهُ وَ هُوَ نَوْمُ کُلِّ مَشُومٍ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَی یُقَسِّمُ الْأَرْزَاقَ مَا بَیْنَ طُلُوعِ الْفَجْرِ إِلَی طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ فَإِیَّاکُمْ وَ تِلْکَ النَّوْمَةَ.

📚 Al-Faqih, vol. 1, p. 502

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: Sleeping between the two dawns is detestable; it pushes away sustenance, makes the complexion yellow and ugly, changes it, and every dream during that time is inauspicious. Indeed, Allah Almighty distributes sustenance between the dawn of Fajr and the sunrise, so avoid sleeping during that time!

3⃣قَالَ الرِّضَا فِی قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فَالْمُقَسِّماتِ أَمْراً قَالَ الْمَلَائِکَةُ تُقَسِّمُ أَرْزَاقَ بَنَی آدَمَ مَا بَیْنَ طُلُوعِ الْفَجْرِ إِلَی طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ فَمَنْ نَامَ فِیمَا بَیْنَهُمَا نَامَ عَنْ رِزْقِهِ.

📚 Al-Faqih, vol. 1, p. 504

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) regarding the saying of Allah Almighty (in Surah Adh-Dhariyat, 51:4) that He says: 'And those distributing (sustenance).' said: The angels distribute the sustenance of the servants between the dawn of Fajr until sunrise. Therefore, anyone who is asleep between the dawn of Fajr and sunrise has missed out on his sustenance!

4⃣عَنْ سُلَیْمَانَ بْنِ حَفْصٍ الْبَصْرِیِّ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ مَا عَجَّتِ الْأَرْضُ إِلَی رَبِّهَا عَزَّوَجَلَّ کَعَجِیجِهَا مِنْ ثَلَاثَةٍ مِنْ دَمٍ حَرَامٍ یُسْفَکُ عَلَیْهَا أَوِ اغْتِسَالٍ مِنْ زِنًا أَوِ النَّوْمِ عَلَیْهَا قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ.

📚 Al-Khisal, p. 141

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) said: 'The earth, has not cried intensely to Allah but from three things: from the shedding of unlawful blood on it, from committing adultery, and from sleeping on it before the sunrise!'

5⃣عَلِیُّ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَخِیهِ مُوسَی بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ : سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ النَّوْمِ بَعْدَ الْغَدَاةِ قَالَ لَا حَتَّی تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ.

📚 Masa'il Ali ibn Ja'far, p. 143

Ali ibn Ja'far reported: I asked Musa ibn Ja'far (peace be upon him) about sleeping after the Fajr prayer. He said: No, until the sun rises!

6⃣عَنْ أَبِی حَمْزَةَ عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ الْحُسَیْنِ فِی حَدِیثٍ قَالَ: لَا تَنَامَنَّ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ فَإِنِّی أَکْرَهُهَا لَکَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ یُقَسِّمُ فِی ذَلِکَ الْوَقْتِ أَرْزَاقَ الْعِبَادِ عَلَی أَیْدِینَا یُجْرِیهَا.

📚 Basa'ir al-Darajat, p. 363

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said in a narration: Never sleep before the sunrise, for I dislike it for you. Indeed, Allah distributes the sustenance of His servants at that time, and He pours it into our hands (the hands of the servants)!

7⃣عَنِ الْبَاقِرِ : النَّوْمُ أَوَّلَ النَّهَارِ خُرْقٌ

📚 Man La Yahduruhu al-Faqih, vol. 1, p. 318

Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) said: Sleeping at the beginning of the day is foolishness, ignorance, and intellectual weakness!
