1⃣عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِی یَعْفُورٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: اسْتَغْفِرِ اللَّهَ فِی الْوَتْرِ سَبْعِینَ مَرَّةً تَنْصِبُ یَدَکَ الْیُسْرَی وَ تَعُدُّ بِالْیُمْنَی الِاسْتِغْفَارَ.

📚 Al-Faqih, Vol. 1, p. 489

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: In the Witr prayer, make seventy times istighfar (seek forgiveness), use your left hand (for the prayer) and count the istighfar with your right hand!

2⃣عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ یَقُولُ مَرَّ بِی رَجُلٌ وَ أَنَا أَدْعُو فِی صَلَاتِی بِیَسَارِی فَقَالَ یَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بِیَمِینِکَ فَقُلْتُ یَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ لِلَّهِ تَبَارَکَ وَ تَعَالَی حَقّاً عَلَی هَذِهِ کَحَقِّهِ عَلَی هَذِهِ الْحَدِیثَ.

📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 2, p. 480

Muhammad bin Muslim says: I heard Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) saying: While I was praying and making du'a with my left hand, a man passed by and said: O servant of Allah! Pray with your right hand! So I said to him: O servant of Allah! Indeed, Allah has a right over this hand just as He has a right over this hand!

✅ There is no narration forbidding prayer with the left hand alone or alongside the right hand. In the above narrations, praying with the left hand alone is affirmed and encouraged.
