1⃣عَنْ أَبِی الصَّامِتِ قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ صَلَاةٌ فِی مَسْجِدِ النَّبِیِّ تَعْدِلُ بِعَشَرَةِ آلَافِ صَلَاةٍ.

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: Prayer in the Prophet's Mosque is equivalent to ten thousand prayers!

2⃣عَنْ جَمِیلِ بْنِ دَرَّاجٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ یَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ مَا بَیْنَ مِنْبَرِی وَ بُیُوتِی رَوْضَةٌ مِنْ رِیَاضِ الْجَنَّةِ وَ مِنْبَرِی عَلَی تُرْعَةٍ مِنْ تُرَعِ الْجَنَّةِ وَ صَلَاةٌ فِی مَسْجِدِی تَعْدِلُ أَلْفَ صَلَاةٍ فِیمَا سِوَاهُ مِنَ الْمَسَاجِدِ إِلَّا الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ قَالَ جَمِیلٌ قُلْتُ لَهُ بُیُوتُ النَّبِیِّ وَ بَیْتُ عَلِیٍ مِنْهَا قَالَ نَعَمْ وَ أَفْضَلُ.

Jamil said: I heard Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) saying: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Between my pulpit and my houses is a garden from the gardens of Paradise, and my pulpit is at a gate of Paradise. One prayer in my mosque is equivalent to a thousand prayers in other mosques, except the Sacred Mosque!

Jamil said: I asked: Is the house of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and the house of Ali (peace be upon him) part of this? He replied: Yes! And it is better!

3⃣عَنْ جَمِیلِ بْنِ دَرَّاجٍ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مَسْجِدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ کَمْ تَعْدِلُ الصَّلَاةُ فِیهِ فَقَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَاةٌ فِی مَسْجِدِی هَذَا أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَلْفِ صَلَاةٍ فِی غَیْرِهِ إِلَّا الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ.

Jamil bin Diraj said: I asked Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) about the Prophet's Mosque and what the reward for prayer there is. The Imam replied: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: One prayer in my mosque is better than a thousand prayers in any other mosque, except the Sacred Mosque!

4⃣عَنْ مُرَازِمٍ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ فِی مَسْجِدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَاةٌ فِی مَسْجِدِی تَعْدِلُ أَلْفَ صَلَاةٍ فِی غَیْرِهِ وَ صَلَاةٌ فِی الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ تَعْدِلُ أَلْفَ صَلَاةٍ فِی مَسْجِدِی الْحَدِیثَ.

📚 Kamal al-Ziyarat, p. 21

Maraazim said: I asked Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) about prayer in the Prophet's Mosque. The Imam said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: One prayer in my mosque is equivalent to a thousand prayers in other mosques, and one prayer in the Sacred Mosque is equivalent to a thousand prayers in my mosque!

5⃣عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ مُوسَی عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ فِی الْمَدِینَةِ هَلْ هِیَ مِثْلُ الصَّلَاةِ فِی مَسْجِدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ قَالَ لَا إِنَّ الصَّلَاةَ فِی مَسْجِدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أَلْفُ صَلَاةٍ وَ الصَّلَاةُ فِی الْمَدِینَةِ مِثْلُ الصَّلَاةِ فِی سَائِرِ الْبُلْدَانِ.

📚 Al-Tahdhib, Vol. 3, p. 254

Ammar said: I asked Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) about prayer in the city of Medina, whether it is like the prayer in the Prophet's Mosque. The Imam replied: No! Indeed, prayer in the Prophet's Mosque is like a thousand prayers, and prayer in the city of Medina is like prayer in other cities!

✅ Based on the above narrations, pilgrims to Medina should not neglect or become lax about performing many prayers in the Prophet's Mosque. They should ensure that they perform all their prayers in the mosque, because according to narration 5⃣, prayer outside the Prophet's Mosque in other parts of Medina is like prayer in other cities and does not have any special merit!
