Question 1659: A person, after urinating, due to the lack of water, dries the area with a stone, clod, or a dry cloth, and before purifying it with water, the area of the urine comes into contact with moisture from sweat, pre-ejaculate, or other moisture on the thighs or other parts. In such a case, is it necessary to purify the areas that have come into contact with the moisture?
✅ Answer: Please refer to the following narration:
📚 Al-Tahdhib, Vol. 1, p. 421
Ays bin Qasim says: I asked Imam Sadiq (a.s.) about a man who urinates in a place where there is no water and wipes his private parts with a stone, and (then) his private parts and thighs sweat. The Imam replied: He should wash his private parts and thighs!
✅ Based on the above narration, if the area of urine has not been purified with water, and if it comes into contact with any part of the body with moisture, it is necessary to wash not only the area of urine but also the areas that have come into contact with the moisture.
