Question 1657: Can a person who uses the hadiths of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) for medical treatment and preparation of herbal medicines receive payment?

✅ Answer: Please refer to the following narration:

📚 Al-Tahdhib, Vol. 6, p. 375

Muhammad bin Muslim says: I asked Imam Sadiq (AS) about a person who prepares medicine for people and receives payment for it; the Imam replied: There is no problem with it!

✅ Receiving payment for preparing lawful medicine is generally permitted, even if the preparation of the medicine is based on the hadiths of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and it does not fall under the category of earning worldly gains through religion.
