Question 1639: What is the ruling for someone who travels in the afternoon during Ramadan?
✅ Answer: Please refer to the following narrations:
📚 *Al-Kafi, Vol. 4, p. 131*
Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: When a person travels during Ramadan and leaves after noon (afternoon), it is obligatory for them to complete the fast for that day and count it as part of Ramadan!
📚 *Al-Kafi, Vol. 4, p. 131*
Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: When a person travels in Ramadan after noon (legal noon), they complete the fast for that day, and if they travel before noon, they break the fast!
✅ Based on the above narrations and others, if someone travels after legal noon during Ramadan, they are required to complete the fast for that day, and it will count as part of Ramadan.
