✅ Answer: Pay attention to the following narrations:

📚 Al-Faqih, Vol. 2, p. 399

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: There is no issue with performing all the rituals of Hajj without wudu, except for the tawaf of the Kaaba, and having wudu (for the other rituals) is preferable!

📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 4, p. 420

Muhammad ibn Muslim said: I asked Imam Baqir or Imam Sadiq (peace be upon them) about a person who performs the obligatory tawaf without wudu. The Imam said: He must perform wudu and repeat the tawaf, and if it is a voluntary (non-obligatory) tawaf, he performs wudu and prays the two rak'ahs of the tawaf prayer!

📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 4, p. 414

Imam Baqir or Imam Sadiq (peace be upon them) said regarding a person whose wudu becomes invalid during the obligatory tawaf after completing part of it: He goes out, performs wudu, and if he has completed more than half of the tawaf, he continues the tawaf; if less than half, he repeats the tawaf!

✅ Based on the above narrations and others, having wudu is obligatory for the obligatory tawaf. If a person's wudu becomes invalid during the obligatory tawaf, they must go perform wudu. If they have completed more than half of the tawaf, they continue the tawaf, but if less than half, they must repeat the tawaf.

If they performed the obligatory tawaf from the beginning without wudu, they must repeat the tawaf.
