✅ Answer: Please pay attention to the following narrations:

Abdullah ibn Sinan said: 'I asked Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) about a man, is it permissible for him to look at his wife when she dies? And if there is no one else to give her the ritual bath, can he give his wife the ritual bath? And can a woman do the same for her husband when he dies?' The Imam said: 'There is no problem with that! Indeed, the woman's family does this because of their aversion to the man looking at something of the woman that they dislike.'

✅ According to the above narrations and others, a man can look at his wife's body after her death and can give her the ritual bath. However, in some narrations, it is recommended to place a cloth over her private parts during the ritual bath, and in other narrations, it is recommended to put his hand under her shirt without taking it off and give her the ritual bath.
🔺 Furthermore, if you do this,
Our relief will surely come...

So Allah revealed to Moses and Aaron that He would deliver them from Pharaoh, and as a result, He removed 170 years (from their duration)! And Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'Likewise, if you, the Shi'a, do this (i.e., wail and weep to Allah for forty days), our relief will surely come. And if you do not, the matter will continue to its full term!'
