1 عن أبی بصیر عَنْ أَبِی عبداللَّه قال: مَنْ قال فِی دُبُرِ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ و دُبُرِ صَلَاةِ الْمَغْرِبِ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِیمِ لَا حَوْلَ و لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِیِّ الْعَظِیمِ دَفَعَ اللَّهُ عَزَّوَجَلَّ عَنْهُ سَبْعِینَ نَوْعاً مِنْ أَنْوَاعِ الْبَلَاءِ أَهْوَنُهَا الرِّیحُ و الْبَرَصُ و الْجُنُونُ إِنْ کَانَ شَقِیّاً مُحِیَ مِنَ الشَّقَاء و کُتِبَ فی السُّعَدَاء

📚Kafi, Vol. 2, p. 530

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever says seven times after the Fajr prayer and after the Maghrib prayer:'

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِیمِ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِیِّ الْعَظِیمِ

'...Allah, the Mighty and Glorious, will repel from him seventy kinds of calamities, the lightest of which are 'rih' (a type of illness), vitiligo, and madness. And if he is wretched, he will be erased from among the wretched and written among the fortunate and blessed ones!'

2 عن ابن بکیر عن أَبی عبداللَّه قال: غَسْلُ الرَّأْسِ بِالْخِطْمِیِّ فی کُلِّ جُمُعَةٍ أَمَانٌ مِنَ الْبَرَصِ و الْجُنُون

📚Kafi, Vol. 6, p. 504

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'Washing the head with mallow on every Friday provides security from vitiligo and madness!'

3 عن هشام بن سالم عن أَبی عبداللَّه أَنَّهُ قال:تَقْلِیمُ الْأَظْفَارِ یَوْمَ الْجُمُعَة یُؤْمِنُ مِنَ الْجُذَامِ و الْجُنُونِ و الْبَرَصِ و الْعَمَی فَإِنْ لَمْ تَحْتَجْ فَحُکَّهَا حَکّاً

📚Faqih, Vol. 1, p. 126

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'Trimming nails on Friday provides security from leprosy, madness, vitiligo, and blindness! So if you do not need to (trim them), file them a little!'

4 عن ابْنِ بُکَیْرٍ عن أَبی بداللَّه قال: تَقْلِیمُ الْأَظْفَارِ و أَخْذُ الشَّارِبِ فی کُلِّ جُمُعَةٍ أَمَانٌ مِنَ الْبَرَصِ و الْجُنُون

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'Trimming nails and shortening the mustache on every Friday is a security from vitiligo and madness!'

5 عن أَحمد بن عَامِر الطَّائِیِّ قال سَمِعْتُ أَبَاالْحَسَنِ عَلِیَّ بْنَ مُوسَی الرِّضَا یَقُولُ یَوْمُ الْأَرْبِعَاءِ یَوْمُ نَحْسٍ مُسْتَمِرٍّ مَنِ احْتَجَمَ فِیهِ خِیفَ عَلَیْهِ أَنْ تَخْضَرَّ مَحَاجِمُهُ وَ مَنْ تَنَوَّرَ فِیهِ خِیفَ عَلَیْهِ الْبَرَص

📚Uyun Akhbar al-Reza, Vol. 1, p. 248

Ahmad said: 'I heard Imam Reza (peace be upon him) say: 'Wednesday is a day of continuous misfortune. Whoever performs cupping on it is feared that the cupping site will turn black and blue, and whoever applies depilatory powder on it is feared to get vitiligo!''

6 عن أَبِی عَبْداللَّه فِی حَدِیثٍ أَنَّهُ قال وَ قَضَاءُ حَاجَةِ الْمُؤْمِنِ تَدْفَعُ الْجُنُونَ وَجَبَ الْجُذَامَ و الْبَرَص

📚Kafi, Vol. 4, p. 34

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said in a hadith: 'Fulfilling the need of a believer repels madness, leprosy, and vitiligo!'

7 عن عَبْداللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْداللَّهِ قَالَ: الْأَکْلُ عَلَی الشِّبَعِ یُورِثُ الْبَرَص

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'Eating on a full stomach causes vitiligo!'

8 عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْداللَّه قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ لِعَلِیٍّ افْتَتِحْ طَعَامَکَ بِالْمِلْحِ وَ اخْتِمْ بِهِ فَإِنَّ مَنِ افْتَتَحَ طَعَامَهُ بِالْمِلْحِ وَ خَتَمَ بِهِ عُوفِیَ مِنِ اثْنَیْنِ وَ سَبْعِینَ نَوْعاً مِنْ أَنْوَاعِ الْبَلَاءِ مِنْهُ الْجُنُونُ وَ الْجُذَامُ وَ الْبَرَص

📚Kafi, Vol. 6, p. 326

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said to Amir al-Mu'minin (peace be upon him): 'Start your food with salt and end it with salt, for whoever starts his food with salt and ends it with salt will be cured from 72 kinds of calamities, including madness, leprosy, and vitiligo!'

9 عَنِ السَّکُونِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْداللَّه فِی حَدِیثٍ قَالَ: لَا یَذُوقُ الْجُنُبُ شَیْئاً حَتَّی یَغْسِلَ یَدَیْهِ وَ یَتَمَضْمَضَ فَإِنَّهُ یُخَافُ مِنْهُ الْوَضَحُ

📚Kafi, Vol. 3, p. 51

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'A person in a state of janabah should not eat anything until he washes his hands and rinses his mouth, for it is feared that he will get vitiligo!'

10 عن یَحْیَی بْنِ مُسَاوِرٍ عن أَبِی إِبْرَاهِیم قَالَ: السَّوِیقُ وَ مَرَقُ لَحْمِ الْبَقَرِ یَذْهَبَانِ بِالْوَضَح

Imam Kazim (peace be upon him) said: 'Sawiq and beef broth remove vitiligo!'
