Question 1501: Should the prayer on the first day of the month be recited aloud or quietly?
✅ Answer: Please consider the following narration:
📚 Al-Tahdhib, Vol. 2, p. 289
Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: The Sunnah for the daytime prayer is to recite quietly, and for the night prayer, it is to recite aloud and clearly!
✅ Based on the above narration, all prayers designated for the day should be recited quietly, while all prayers designated for the night should be recited aloud. Therefore, the recitation of the prayer on the first day of the month, like the recitation of the Dhuhr and Asr prayers, should be done quietly.
