1 عن یَزِیدَ بْنِ خَلِیفَةَ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْداللَّه قَالَ: مَنْ کَانَ یُدْمِنُ قِرَاءَةَ وَ النَّجْمِ فِی کُلِّ یَوْمٍ أَوْ فِی کُلِّ لَیْلَةٍ عَاشَ مَحْمُوداً بَیْنَ یَدَیِ النَّاسِ وَ کَانَ مَغْفُوراً لَهُ وَ کَانَ مَحْبُوباً بَیْنَ النَّاس

📚 Thawab al-A'mal, p. 143

Yazid ibn Khalifa said: Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: Whoever persists in reciting Surah An-Najm every day or every night, will live a life praised among people, will be forgiven, and will be beloved and popular among people!

2 عن إِبْرَاهِیم الْکَرْخِی عن أَبِی عَبْداللَّه فِی حَدِیثٍ أَنَّهُ قال: إِنِّی لَأُحِبُّ لِلرَّجُلِ الْمُؤْمِنِ مِنْکُمْ إِذَا قَامَ فِی صَلَاةٍ فَرِیضَةٍ أَنْ یُقْبِلَ بِقَلْبِهِ إِلَی اللَّهِ تَعَالَی وَ لَا یَشْغَلَ قَلْبَهُ بِأَمْرِ الدُّنْیَا فَلَیْسَ مِنْ عَبْدٍ یُقْبِلُ بِقَلْبِهِ فِی صَلَاتِهِ إِلَی اللَّهِ تَعَالَی إِلَّا أَقْبَلَ اللَّهُ إِلَیْهِ بِوَجْهِهِ وَ أَقْبَلَ بِقُلُوبِ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ إِلَیْهِ بِالْمَحَبَّةِ بَعْدَ حُبِّ اللَّهِ إِیَّاه

📚 Thawab al-A'mal, p. 163

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said in a hadith: I like for the believer among you that when he stands for the obligatory prayer, he turns his heart to Allah, the Exalted, and does not preoccupy his heart with worldly matters.

For there is no servant who turns his heart to Allah, the Exalted, in his prayer, except that Allah turns His Face to him, and after being loved by Allah, He turns the hearts of the believers with affection and love toward him!

3 قال الصَّادقُ لَا تَجْتَمِعُ الرَّغْبَةُ و الرَّهْبَةُ فِی قَلْبٍ إِلَّا وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ فَإِذَا صَلَّیْتَ فَأَقْبِلْ بِقَلْبِکَ عَلَی اللَّهِ عَزَّوَجَلَّ فَإِنَّهُ لَیْسَ مِنْ عَبْدٍ مُؤْمِنٍ یُقْبِلُ بِقَلْبِهِ عَلَی اللَّهِ عَزَّوَجَلَّ فی صَلَاتِهِ و دُعَائِهِ إِلَّا أَقْبَلَ اللَّهُ عَلَیْهِ بِقُلُوبِ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ إِلَیْهِ و أَیَّدَهُ مَعَ مَوَدَّتِهِمْ إِیَّاهُ بِالْجَنَّة

📚 Faqih, Vol. 1, p. 209

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: Desire and fear do not combine in any heart except that Paradise becomes obligatory for him! So when you pray, turn to Allah, the Almighty and Glorious, with your heart, for there is no believing servant who turns to Allah, the Almighty and Glorious, with his heart in his prayer and supplication, except that Allah turns the hearts of the believers to him and helps them with Paradise along with their affection and love for him!

4 The Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) used to say to his companions: Whoever prostrates between the adhan and the iqamah and says in his prostration:

رَبِّ لَکَ سَجَدْتُ خَاضِعاً خَاشِعاً ذَلِیلًا

Allah says: O My angels! I swear by My عزت (might) and Jalal (majesty) that I will surely place his love in the hearts of My believing servants and his awe in the hearts of the hypocrites!

5 عن محمد بن عیسی الْکِنْدِی عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ قال جَاءَ أَعْرَابِیٌّ إِلَی رَسُولِ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ یا مُحَمَّدُ أَخْبِرْنِی بِعَمَلٍ یُحِبُّنِیَ اللَّهُ عَلَیْهِ فَقَالَ یَا أَعْرَابِیُّ ازْهَدْ فِی الدُّنْیَا یُحِبَّکَ اللَّهُ وَ ازْهَدْ فِیمَا فِی أَیْدِی النَّاسِ یُحِبَّکَ النَّاس

📚 Amali al-Tusi, Vol. 1, p. 139

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: An Arab came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) and said: O Muhammad! Inform me of a deed by which Allah will love me! He said: O Arab! Be indifferent to the world so that Allah may love you, and be indifferent to what is in the hands of people so that people may love you!

6 عن إِبْرَاهِیم بن دَاوُدَ الْیَعْقُوبِیِّ عَنْ أَخِیهِ سُلَیْمَانَ بِإِسْنَادِهِ رَفَعَهُ: قال رَجُلٌ لِلنَّبِیِّ صلی الله علیه و آله یَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ عَلِّمْنِی شَیْئاً إِذَا أَنَا فَعَلْتُهُ أَحَبَّنِیَ اللَّهُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ وَ أَحَبَّنِیَ النَّاسُ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ فَقَالَ لَهُ ارْغَبْ فِیمَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ یُحِبَّکَ اللَّهُ وَ ازْهَدْ فِیمَا عِنْدَ النَّاسِ یُحِبَّکَ النَّاسُ

📚 Khisal, Vol. 1, p. 32

A man said to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family): O Messenger of Allah! Teach me something that if I do it, Allah in the heavens and the people on earth will love me!

He said: Desire what is with Allah, the Almighty and Glorious, so that Allah may love you, and be indifferent to what is with people so that people may love you!

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَجِّلْ لِوَلِیِّکَ الْفَرَجَ وَ الْعَافِیَةَ وَ النَّصْر
