✅Answer: Please pay attention to the following verse and narrations:
Translation of the relevant part: And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and guard their private parts.......
And let them not strike their feet (together or on the ground in a certain way) so that what they hide of their adornment is known, and all of you, O believers, repent to God so that you may succeed!
📖 Surah An-Nur, verse 31
📚 Al-Kafi, vol. 3, p. 404
In a hadith, Ali ibn Ja'far said: I asked my brother Musa Ja'far about anklets, whether wearing them for women and children is proper and correct? The Imam said: If it is silent, there is no problem, and if it makes noise, it is not proper and correct!
📚 Tafsir Ali ibn Ibrahim, vol. 2, p. 101.
Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) said about the words of God Almighty (in Surah An-Nur, verse 31) which says: 'And let the women not strike their feet (together or on the ground in a certain way) so that what they hide of their adornment is known' He said: This means that she should not strike one foot against the other so that the anklet on this foot strikes the anklet on the other foot (and makes a sound)!
✅ An anklet is an adornment like a bracelet, in the form of a ring and made of gold or other materials, that women and children wear on their feet for adornment. According to the above narrations, if it is silent and does not make a sound when walking, there is no problem, but if it makes a sound, wearing it is not proper and correct.
Therefore, if the anklet is made in such a way that it makes a sound when walking, permission to wear it has not been given, and if it is silent, there is no problem with wearing it.
✅ According to the Quranic verse and narration 2 , even if the anklet is silent, a woman should not strike her feet together in front of a non-mahram man, which would cause the anklet on one foot to strike the anklet on the other and produce a sound, thus making the hidden adornment of women known!
✅ Permission to reveal the anklet to a non-mahram man has not been given in the narrations.
✅ Pray more for the hastening of the reappearance (of the Imam):
