✅Answer: Pay attention to the following narrations:

1 عَنْ إِبْرَاهِیمَ بْنِ أَبِی مَحْمُودٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الرِّضَا یَقُولُ یُسْتَنْجَی وَ یُغْسَلُ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهُ عَلَی الشَّرْجِ وَ لَا یُدْخَلُ فِیهِ الْأَنْمُلَةُ.

📚 Al-Kafi, vol. 3, p. 17

Ibrahim ibn Abi Mahmud said: I heard Imam Reza (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: 'What is apparent and visible of feces on the ring of the anus should be removed and washed, and the finger should not be inserted into it!'

2 عَنْ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ فِی حَدِیثٍ قَالَ: وَ إِنْ خَرَجَ مِنْ مَقْعَدَتِهِ شَيْءٌ وَ لَمْ يَبُلْ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْهِ أَنْ يَغْسِلَ الْمَقْعَدَةَ وَحْدَهَا وَ لَا يَغْسِلُ الْإِحْلِيلَ وَ قَالَ إِنَّمَا عَلَيْهِ أَنْ يَغْسِلَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَ لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ أَنْ يَغْسِلَ بَاطِنَهَا

📚 Al-Tahdhib, vol. 1, p. 45

Imam Sadiq (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said in a hadith: 'If only something comes out of the anus but he does not urinate, it is obligatory for him to wash only the anus and not the penis.' And he said: 'It is obligatory for him to wash what is apparent and visible of the anus, and it is not obligatory for him to wash its hidden and inner part!'

✅ According to the above narrations and others, for washing the place of feces, what is apparent and visible of the feces on the outer part of the ring of the anus should be washed, and what is hidden and inside and can only be washed by inserting a finger, there is no need to wash it.

وَ عَجِّلْ لِوَلِیِّکَ الْفَرَجَ وَ الْعَافِیَةَ وَ النَّصْر
