✅ Answer: Pay close attention to the following narrations:

📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 3, p. 425

Translation: Imam Baqir, peace be upon him, said: Indeed, Allah honored the believers with (Surah) Al-Jum'ah, so the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, made it a sunnah to announce glad tidings to them, and he made Surah Al-Munafiqun to rebuke the hypocrites, and leaving them (in the Friday noon prayer) is not fitting, so whoever intentionally leaves these two surahs, there is no prayer for him.

✅ Imam Sadiq, peace be upon him, said: Whoever does not recite Surah Al-Jum'ah and Al-Munafiqun in the Friday prayer, there is no Friday for him.

📚 Tahdhib, Vol. 3, p. 7

📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 3, p. 426

Translation: Imam Sadiq, peace be upon him, said: Whoever performs the Friday (noon) prayer on a journey and in residence with other than Surah Al-Jum'ah and Al-Munafiqun, he should repeat the prayer.

✅ In the narrations, including the two narrations above, there is a command to recite Surah Al-Jum'ah in the first rak'ah and Surah Al-Munafiqun in the second rak'ah, and in case of leaving them, in the first hadith, it is stated that the entire prayer should be repeated, not just the recitation of these two surahs.

📚 Tahdhib, Vol. 3, p. 8

Translation: Sabah said: I said to Imam Sadiq, peace be upon him: A person wants to perform the Friday (noon) prayer but he recites Surah Al-Tawhid (what should he do?). The Imam said: He should complete that prayer as two rak'ahs and perform the Friday noon prayer again from the beginning (with Surah Al-Jum'ah and Al-Munafiqun).

📚 Tahdhib, Vol. 3, p. 243

Translation: Imam Sadiq, peace be upon him, said: If you started your prayer with Surah Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad while you intended to recite another surah, continue with this Surah Al-Tawhid and do not turn back from it unless you are in the Friday (noon) prayer, in which case you turn back from Surah Al-Tawhid to Surah Al-Jum'ah and Al-Munafiqun.

✅ Both of the above narrations are authentic and actionable.

✅ A dispensation to leave these two surahs in the Friday noon prayer has been mentioned in the following cases, for example:

📚 Man La Yahduruhu al-Faqih, Vol. 1, p. 416

Translation: Imam Sadiq, peace be upon him, said: If you are in a hurry, there is no problem with performing the Friday (noon) prayer with other than Surah Al-Jum'ah and Al-Munafiqun.

📚 Tahdhib, Vol. 3, p. 8

Translation: Ali ibn Yaqtin said: I asked Imam Kazim, peace be upon him, about the Friday (noon) prayer during a journey, and which surahs I should recite in it? He said: Recite Surah Al-Tawhid in the two rak'ahs.

✅ A person who has not known about the command to recite these two surahs in the Friday noon prayer for a period of time should act upon the following hadith:

📚 Tahdhib, Vol. 5, p. 73

Translation: Imam Sadiq, peace be upon him, said in a hadith: Whoever commits an act out of ignorance, there is nothing upon him.

✅ It is very important to understand the correct position of the above important principle.
