1 عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ أَبِی صَفِیَّةَ الثُّمَالِیِّ عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ سَعِیدٍ عَنْ سَعِیدِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَمِیرَ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ یَقُولُ تَرْکُ نَسْجِ الْعَنْکَبُوتِ فِی الْبَیْتِ یُورِثُ الْفَقْرَ وَ الْبَوْلُ فِی الْحَمَّامِ یُورِثُ الْفَقْرَ وَ الْأَکْلُ عَلَی الْجَنَابَةِ یُورِثُ الْفَقْرَ وَ التَّخَلُّلُ بِالطَّرْفَاءِ یُورِثُ الْفَقْرَ وَ التَّمَشُّطُ مِنْ قِیَامٍ یُورِثُ الْفَقْرَ وَ تَرْکُ الْقُمَامَةِ فِی الْبَیْتِ یُورِثُ الْفَقْرَ وَ الْیَمِینُ الْفَاجِرَةُ تُورِثُ الْفَقْرَ وَ الزِّنَا یُورِثُ الْفَقْرَ وَ إِظْهَارُ الْحِرْصِ یُورِثُ الْفَقْرَ وَ النَّوْمُ بَیْنَ الْعِشَاءَیْنِ یُورِثُ الْفَقْرَ وَ النَّوْمُ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ یُورِثُ الْفَقْرَ وَ اعْتِیَادُ الْکَذِبِ یُورِثُ الْفَقْرَ وَ کَثْرَةُ الِاسْتِمَاعِ إِلَی الْغِنَاءِ یُورِثُ الْفَقْرَ وَ رَدُّ السَّائِلِ الذَّکَرِ بِاللَّیْلِ یُورِثُ الْفَقْرَ وَ تَرْکُ التَّقْدِیرِ فِی الْمَعِیشَةِ یُورِثُ الْفَقْرَ وَ قَطِیعَةُ الرَّحِمِ تُورِثُ الْفَقْرَ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَ لَا أُنَبِّئُکُمْ بَعْدَ ذَلِکَ بِمَا یَزِیدُ فِی الرِّزْقِ قَالُوا بَلَی یَا أَمِیرَ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ فَقَالَ الْجَمْعُ بَیْنَ الصَّلَاتَیْنِ یَزِیدُ فِی الرِّزْقِ وَ التَّعْقِیبُ بَعْدَ الْغَدَاةِ وَ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ یَزِیدُ فِی الرِّزْقِ وَ صِلَةُ الرَّحِمِ تَزِیدُ فِی الرِّزْقِ وَ کَسْحُ الْفِنَاءِ یَزِیدُ فِی الرِّزْقِ وَ مُوَاسَاةُ الْأَخِ فِی اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ یَزِیدُ فِی الرِّزْقِ وَ الْبُکُورُ فِی طَلَبِ الرِّزْقِ یَزِیدُ فِی الرِّزْقِ وَ الِاسْتِغْفَارُ یَزِیدُ فِی الرِّزْقِ وَ اسْتِعْمَالُ الْأَمَانَةِ یَزِیدُ فِی الرِّزْقِ وَ قَوْلُ الْحَقِّ یَزِیدُ فِی الرِّزْقِ وَ إِجَابَةُ الْمُؤَذِّنِ تَزِیدُ فِی الرِّزْقِ وَ تَرْکُ الْکَلَامِ عَلَی الْخَلَاءِ یَزِیدُ فِی الرِّزْقِ وَ تَرْکُ الْحِرْصِ یَزِیدُ فِی الرِّزْقِ وَ شُکْرُ الْمُنْعِمِ یَزِیدُ فِی الرِّزْقِ وَ اجْتِنَابُ الْیَمِینِ الْکَاذِبَةِ یَزِیدُ فِی الرِّزْقِ وَ الْوُضُوءُ قَبْلَ الطَّعَامِ یَزِیدُ فِی الرِّزْقِ وَ أَکْلُ مَا یَسْقُطُ مِنَ الْخِوَانِ یَزِیدُ فِی الرِّزْقِ وَ مَنْ سَبَّحَ اللَّهَ کُلَّ یَوْمٍ ثَلَاثِینَ مَرَّةً دَفَعَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ سَبْعِینَ نَوْعاً مِنَ الْبَلَاءِ أَیْسَرُهَا الْفَقْرُ.

Sa'id ibn 'Alaqa said: I heard the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) say: Leaving spider webs in the house causes poverty, and urinating in the bathroom causes poverty, and eating while in a state of ritual impurity causes poverty, and picking one's teeth with a piece of tamarisk wood causes poverty, and combing one's hair while standing causes poverty, and leaving rubbish in the house causes poverty, and a false oath causes poverty, and adultery causes poverty, and showing greed causes poverty, and sleeping between the Maghrib and 'Isha prayers causes poverty, and sleeping before sunrise causes poverty, and getting used to lying causes poverty, and listening to a lot of singing causes poverty, and turning away a male beggar at night causes poverty, and abandoning moderation in one's livelihood causes poverty, and severing ties of kinship causes poverty!

Then the حضرت (Imam) said: Shall I not inform you after that of what increases sustenance? They said: Yes, O Commander of the Faithful! He said: Combining the two prayers increases sustenance, and the supererogatory prayers after the Fajr and 'Asr prayers increase sustenance, and sweeping the courtyard of the house increases sustenance, and showing compassion and helping (financially) a religious and spiritual brother increases sustenance, and going out early in the morning to seek sustenance increases sustenance, and seeking forgiveness increases sustenance, and being trustworthy increases sustenance, and speaking the truth increases sustenance, and answering the call of the muezzin increases sustenance, and refraining from speaking during excretion increases sustenance, and abandoning greed increases sustenance, and being grateful to the one who gives blessings increases sustenance, and staying away from a false oath increases sustenance, and washing hands before eating increases sustenance, and eating what falls from the tablecloth increases sustenance, and whoever says 'Subhan Allah' (Glory be to Allah) 30 times every day, Allah will turn away seventy kinds of calamities from him, the least of which is poverty!

✅ Based on the above narration, urinating in the bathroom causes poverty!

✅ Note that this matter is not related to the common drainage system of the bathroom and the toilet, and the condemnation is related to urinating in the bathroom area.
