Seeking needs

Traveling

✅ Answer: There is no narration that prohibits going after needs, postponing tasks, or spending money on Saturdays. On the contrary, some things have been recommended for Saturdays, both generally and specifically. Please pay attention to the following narrations:

📚Al-Khisal, p. 394, hadith 98

Imam Ridha (peace be upon him) narrated from his ancestors from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) who said: 'O Allah! Bless my nation in the morning of its Saturday and its Thursday!'

📚Al-Faqih, Vol. 1, p. 424

Abu Ayyub al-Khazzaz asked Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) about the saying of Allah Almighty (in Surah al-Jumu'ah, verse 10): 'Then when the prayer is finished, disperse in the land and seek from the bounty of Allah.' The Imam said: 'The prayer is on Friday, and the dispersing is on Saturday!'

📚Al-Faqih, Vol. 1, p. 425

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'Saturday is for Banu Hashim and Sunday is for Banu Umayyah!'

📚Al-Faqih, Vol. 2, p. 266

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever intends to travel, let him travel on Saturday, because if a rock is chipped from a mountain on Saturday, Allah Almighty will return it to its place (due to the blessing of this day)!'

📚Al-Faqih, Vol. 2, p. 267

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'Do not go out to seek a need on Friday, and when it is Saturday and the sun has risen, go out for your work and need!'

✅ But the best Saturday for a Shi'a is the following Saturday:

📚Al-Tahdhib, Vol. 4, p. 333

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) said: 'Al-Qa'im (may Allah hasten his advent) will emerge on a Saturday that coincides with the Day of Ashura, the same day that Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) was killed, and he will cut off the hands of Banu Shaybah (who are the keepers of the Ka'ba and thieves of the House of Allah) and will hang them on the Ka'ba!'

✅ It is observed that in the above narrations, Saturday is recommended for traveling, going after work and needs, and seeking provision and so on. What is famous among some common people, that they should not postpone tasks until Saturday and not spend money on Saturday morning, has no narrational basis.

✅ To reach the promised Saturday in hadith 6️⃣ faster, let us say frequently and continuously with supplication:
