Imam Sadiq, peace be upon him, narrated from his father from Imam Ali, peace be upon him, who said: 'Praying in Jerusalem is equivalent to a thousand prayers, and praying in the great mosque is one hundred prayers, and praying in the tribe's mosque is 25 prayers, and praying in the market mosque is 12 prayers, and a person's individual prayer in his house is one prayer!'
Mosques that are built in markets are called market mosques.
No narration has been received that indicates the dislike of praying in a market mosque, but according to the above narration, in terms of the rank of reward, it is lower than the great mosque and the tribe's mosque.
