✅ Pay attention to a few of the acts that ward off a bad death:

1 عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ: مَنْ صَاغَ خَاتَماً مِنْ عَقِيقٍ فَنَقَشَ فِيهِ مُحَمَّدٌ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ وَ عَلِيٌّ وَلِيُّ اللَّهِ وَقَاهُ اللَّهُ مِيتَةَ السَّوْءِ وَ لَمْ يَمُتْ إِلَّا عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ.

📚 Thawab Al-A'mal, p. 209, hadith 8

Imam Sadiq, peace be upon him, narrated from his father from his grandfather that he said: Whoever makes an agate ring and engraves on it:

مُحَمَّدٌ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ وَ عَلِيٌّ وَلِيُّ اللَّهِ

Allah will protect him from a bad death and he will not die except upon the nature (of monotheism)!

2 عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: مَنْ قَرَأَ وَيْلٌ لِكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ فِي فَرَائِضِهِ بَعُدَ عَنْهُ الْفَقْرُ وَ جُلِبَ عَلَيْهِ الرِّزْقُ وَ يُدْفَعُ عَنْهُ مِيتَةُ السَّوْءِ.

📚 Thawab Al-A'mal, p. 154

Imam Sadiq, peace be upon him, said: Whoever recites Surah Al-Humazah in his obligatory prayers, poverty will be removed from him, sustenance will be attracted to him, and a bad death will be warded off from him!

3 عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّه في حديث قال رسول الله صلی الله علیه و آله يَقُولُ أَحَدُكُمْ إِذَا فَرَغَ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ ثَلَاثِينَ مَرَّةً وَ هُنَّ يَدْفَعْنَ الْهَدْمَ وَ الْغَرَقَ وَ الْحَرَقَ وَ التَّرَدِّيَ فِي الْبِئْرِ وَ أَكْلَ السَّبُعِ وَ مِيتَةَ السَّوْءِ وَ الْبَلِيَّةَ الَّتِي نَزَلَتْ عَلَى الْعَبْدِ فِي ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ.

📚 Al-Tahdheeb, vol. 2, p. 107

In a hadith, Imam Sadiq, peace be upon him, said: The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his family, said: When one of you finishes his prayer, he says 30 times:

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ

And these ward off a building from collapsing on him, drowning, burning, falling into a well, being eaten by a wild animal, a bad death, and a calamity that befalls the servant on that day!

4 عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ الصَّدَقَةُ بِالْيَدِ تَقِي مِيتَةَ السَّوْءِ وَ تَدْفَعُ سَبْعِينَ نَوْعاً مِنْ أَنْوَاعِ الْبَلَاءِ...

📚 Al-Kafi, vol. 4, p. 3

Abdullah ibn Sinan said: I heard Imam Sadiq, peace be upon him, saying: Giving charity with one's hand protects from a bad death and wards off seventy kinds of calamities...!

5 عَنْ حَنَانِ بْنِ سَدِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ: إِنَّ الصَّدَقَةَ لَتَدْفَعُ سَبْعِينَ بَلِيَّةً مِنْ بَلَايَا الدُّنْيَا مَعَ مِيتَةِ السَّوْءِ إِنَّ صَاحِبَهَا لَا يَمُوتُ مِيتَةَ السَّوْءِ أَبَداً مَعَ مَا يُدَّخَرُ لِصَاحِبِهَا فِي الْآخِرَةِ.

📚 Al-Kafi, vol. 4, p. 6

Imam Baqir, peace be upon him, said: Indeed, charity wards off seventy calamities from the calamities of the world along with a bad death. Indeed, its owner will never die with a bad death, along with what is stored for its owner in the Hereafter!

6 عَنْ فُضَيْلِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْداللَّه قَالَ: مَنْ تَصَدَّقَ فِي يَوْمٍ أَوْ لَيْلَةٍ إِنْ كَانَ يَوْمٌ فَيَوْمٌ وَ إِنْ كَانَ لَيْلَةٌ فَلَيْلَةٌ دَفَعَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ الْهَدْمَ وَ السَّبُعَ وَ مِيتَةَ السَّوْءِ

📚 Thawab Al-A'mal, p. 169, hadith 7

Imam Sadiq, peace be upon him, said: Whoever gives charity during the day or night, if it is during the day, on that day, and if it is during the night, on that night, Allah will ward off a building from collapsing on him, wild animals, and a bad death from him!

7 عَنْ عَبْدِاللَّه بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْداللَّه قَالَ: الصَّدَقَةُ بِاللَّيْلِ تَدْفَعُ مِيتَةَ السَّوْءِ وَ تَدْفَعُ سَبْعِينَ نَوْعاً مِنَ الْبَلَاءِ

📚 Thawab Al-A'mal, p. 172, hadith 1

Imam Sadiq, peace be upon him, said: Charity at night wards off a bad death and removes seventy kinds of calamities!

8 عَنِ ابْنِ الطَّيَّارِ قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو عَبْداللَّه حِجَجٌ تَتْرَى وَ عُمَرٌ تُسْعَى يَدْفَعْنَ عَيْلَةَ الْفَقْرِ وَ مِيتَةَ السَّوْءِ

📚 Al-Kafi, vol. 4, p. 261

Imam Sadiq, peace be upon him, said: Successive Hajjs and 'Umrahs that are strived for in them (or 'Umrahs that have a nine-day interval between them and are performed every ten days) ward off poverty and a bad death!

✅ Today, with the increase in bad deaths, we are in great need of the above-mentioned acts. Inshallah, we will perform them and spread them.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

وَ عَجِّلْ لِوَلِیِّکَ الْفَرَجَ وَ الْعَافِیَةَ وَ النَّصْرَ
