✅Everyone, especially those who are far away or do not have the financial ability, can visit him in the following ways:

1️⃣ Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'If the distance and path of one of you is far and his house is far from us, he should go up to the highest place in his house and pray two rak'ahs and point with a greeting to our graves, for indeed it reaches us.'

2️⃣ Isa said: 'I said to Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him), 'When I am not able to, how should I visit you?' He said: 'When you cannot come to me, when it is Friday, perform ghusl or ablution and go up to the roof and pray two rak'ahs and turn towards me (give a greeting).'

3 حَنَانٍ عَنْ أبیه قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ یَا سَدِیرُ تَزُورُ الْحُسَیْنَ فِی کُلِّ یَوْمٍ قُلْتُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاکَ لَا قَالَ فَمَا أَجْفَاکُمْ قَالَ فَتَزُورُونَهُ فِی کُلِّ جُمْعَةٍ قُلْتُ لَا قَالَ فَتَزُورُونَهُ فِی کُلِّ شَهْرٍ قُلْتُ لَا قَالَ فَتَزُورُونَهُ فِی کُلِّ سَنَةٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ قَدْ یَکُونُ ذَلِکَ قَالَ یَا سَدِیرُ مَا أَجْفَاکُمْ لِلْحُسَیْنِ أَ مَا عَلِمْتَ أَنَّ لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ أَلْفَیْ أَلْفِ مَلَکٍ شُعْثاً غُبْراً یَبْکُونَهُ وَ یَزُورُونَهُ لَا یَفْتُرُونَ وَ مَا عَلَیْکَ یَا سَدِیرُ أَنْ تَزُورَ قَبْرَ الْحُسَیْنِ فِی کُلِّ جُمْعَةٍ خَمْسَ مَرَّاتٍ أَوْ فِی کُلِّ یَوْمٍ مَرَّةً قُلْتُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاکَ بَیْنَنَا وَ بَیْنَهُ فَرَاسِخُ کَثِیرَةٌ فَقَالَ لِی اصْعَدْ فَوْقَ سَطْحِکَ ثُمَّ الْتَفِتْ یَمْنَةً وَ یَسْرَةً ثُمَّ تَرْفَعُ رَأْسَکَ إِلَی السَّمَاءِ ثُمَّ تَنْحُو نَحْوَ الْقَبْرِ فَتَقُولُ السَّلَامُ عَلَیْکَ یَا أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَیْکَ وَ رَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَ بَرَکَاتُهُ تُکْتَبُ لَکَ زَوْرَةً وَ الزَّوْرَةُ حَجَّةٌ وَ عُمْرَةٌ

📚Al-Kafi, Vol. 4

Sudayr said: 'Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'O Sudayr, do you visit Hussein (peace be upon him) every day?' I said: 'No, may I be your ransom.' The Imam said: 'How ungrateful you are! So do you visit him every week?' I said: 'No.' He said: 'So do you visit him once a month?' I said: 'No.' He said: 'Do you visit him every year (once a year)?' I said: 'Rarely do we visit him once a year.' The Imam said: 'O Sudayr! How ungrateful you are towards Hussein (peace be upon him)! Do you not know that Allah Almighty has two million angels, disheveled and covered in dust, who weep for Hussein (peace be upon him) and visit him and do not weaken?!'

👈'O Sudayr, what prevents you from visiting the grave of Hussein (peace be upon him) five times every Friday or once a day?'

I said: 'May I be your ransom, there are many farsakhs between us and him.' The Imam said: 'Go up to the roof, then look to the right and left, then raise your head to the sky, then turn towards the grave and say:

السَّلَامُ عَلَیْکَ یَا أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَیْکَ وَ رَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَ بَرَکَاتُهُ

One ziyarah will be written for you, and one ziyarah is a pilgrimage (hajj) and a minor pilgrimage (umrah).'

4️⃣ Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said in the Ziyarah Ashura hadith:

وَ إِنِ اسْتَطَعْتَ أَنْ تَزُورَهُ کُلَّ یَوْمٍ مِنْ دَارِکَ بِهَذِهِ الزِّیَارَةِ فَافْعَلْ

If you can visit Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) every day from your house with this ziyarah (Ashura), do so.

👈 5 عَنِ الْحسین بْنِ ثویر قَالَ کُنْتُ أَنَا وَ یُونُسُ بْنُ ظَبْیَانَ عِنْدَ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَ کَانَ أَکْبَرَنَا سِنّاً فَقَالَ لَهُ إِنِّی کَثِیراً مَا أَذْکُرُ الْحُسَیْنَ فَأَیَّ شَیْ ءٍ أَقُولُ قَالَ قُلْ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَیْکَ یَا أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ تُعِیدُ ذَلِکَ ثَلَاثاً فَإِنَّ السَّلَامَ یَصِلُ إِلَیْهِ مِنْ قَرِیبٍ وَ مِنْ بَعِیدٍ

📚Al-Kafi, Vol. 4, p. 575

Hussein ibn Thuwayr said: 'Yunus ibn Zabyan and I were with Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him), and he was older than all of us, so he said: 'Indeed, I remember Hussein (peace be upon him) a lot. What should I say at that time?'

👈He said: 'Say three times:

صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَیْکَ یَا أَبَا عَبْدِاللَّهِ

Because the greeting from far and near reaches him.'

6️⃣ Sudayr said: 'Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said to me: 'O Sudayr, do you go often to visit the grave of Hussein ibn Ali?' I said: '(The reason I do not go) is busyness.' The Imam said: 'Shall I not teach you something that if you do it, a ziyarah will be written for you for that action?' I said: 'Yes, may I be your ransom.' He said: 'Perform ghusl at home and go up to the roof and point to him with a greeting, for with this, a ziyarah will be written for you.'

7️⃣ A longer ziyarah is also narrated in 📚Bihar, Vol. 101, p. 368, for a person who is far away.
