Question 1089: Following Question 1084, someone who has previously performed Hajj or Umrah now doubts whether they performed the Tawaf al-Nisa correctly. Are they obliged to perform it again or have someone perform it on their behalf?

Answer
✅ In response to the above question and similar cases, refer to a general principle from the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them):
1 عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ: كُلُّ مَا شَكَكْتَ فِيهِ مِمَّا قَدْ مَضَى فَامْضِهِ كَمَا هُوَ.
📚 Al-Tahdhib, Vol.2, p.344
Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) said:
Whatever past actions you have doubts about, leave them as they are (do not pay attention)!
✅ According to this general principle, doubts regarding past acts are not acted upon and are left as they are.
Therefore, if someone doubts after Hajj or Umrah whether they performed Tawaf al-Nisa or other rites, they should ignore the doubt and move on until certainty is attained, and upon attaining certainty, they should perform their duty according to their obligation in that matter.
