Imam Kazim (peace be upon him) said: Whoever eats a pomegranate on an empty stomach on Friday, his heart will be illuminated for forty days. If he eats two, it will be eighty days; if three, 120 days. The whisperings of Satan are removed from him. Whoever is free from Satan's whispers will not disobey Allah, and whoever does not disobey Allah will enter Paradise.

Kalbi said: I heard Imam Baqir and Sadiq (peace be upon them) say: 'No fruit on earth was more beloved to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) than the pomegranate. By Allah, when he ate it, no one shared it with him.'

5 عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ إِنَّ أَبِی لَمْ یُحِبَّ أَنْ یَشْرَکَهُ أَحَدٌ فِی أَکْلِ الرُّمَّانِ لِأَنَّ فِی کُلِّ رُمَّانَةٍ حَبَّةً مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: My father did not like anyone to share in eating a pomegranate, because in every pomegranate there is a seed from Paradise.

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: There is no pomegranate without a heavenly seed in it. So if a seed falls, pick it up; whoever eats it will have his heart illuminated for forty nights and Satan's whisperings removed.
