Satanic States

📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 6, p. 533

Imam Baqir, peace be upon him, said: Whoever relieves himself on a grave (urinates or defecates), or urinates while standing, or urinates in stagnant water, or walks in a single sandal, or drinks while standing, or is alone in a secluded room and sleeps with the grease of meat on him and something from Satan reaches him as a result, he does not leave him unless Allah's will takes effect, and the fastest state for Satan to approach a person is when he is in one of these states!

📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 6, p. 534

Imam Kazim, peace be upon him, said: Three people are feared to be afflicted with madness and insanity:

Defecating among graves, walking in a single shoe, and a person who sleeps alone!

📚 Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 80, p. 191

Imam Baqir, peace be upon him, said: Do not drink while standing, and do not sleep while there is the smell of meat grease on your hand, and do not urinate in water, and do not urinate or defecate on a grave, and do not walk in a single shoe, for indeed the fastest state for Satan to approach a person is when he is in one of these states. And he said: Nothing reaches anyone in these states that is likely to leave him unless Allah wills!

📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 6, p. 536

Imam Baqir or Imam Sadiq, peace be upon them, said: Do not drink while standing, and do not urinate in stagnant water, and do not defecate on a grave, and do not be alone in a secluded room, and do not walk in a single sandal, for indeed the fastest state for Satan to approach a person is when he is in one of these states. And he said: Nothing reaches anyone in these states that is likely to leave him unless Allah, the Exalted, wills!

📚 Ja'fariyyat, p. 202

Ali ibn Abi Talib, peace be upon him, said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, said: Do not urinate or defecate among graves!

✅ In the above narrations, it is observed that it is prohibited to defecate and relieve oneself on a grave and among graves, and one of the dangers that may follow is the fear of madness or something from Satan reaching that person.

✅ This prohibition includes all graves, and it does not matter whose grave it is or where it is.
