✅Answer: Please pay attention to the following narration:

Ali ibn Mahziyar wrote a letter to Imam Abul-Hasan, peace be upon him: 'O my master! A person vows to fast a certain day of the week as long as he lives. So that day coincides with Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, the Days of Tashriq, a journey, or an illness. In such a situation, is he still obligated to fast that day, or is he obligated to make it up? And what should he do, O my master?'

The Imam wrote in reply: 'Allah has removed the obligation of fasting from him on all these days, and he should fast one day in place of this day, if Allah wills.'

✅ According to the above narration, the person in question should break their fast on the day that coincides with a forbidden fast and fast on another day instead. The matter is very clear.
