Answer

✅ Answer: Please pay attention to the following narrations:

📚 Al-Tahdhib, Vol. 2, p. 279

Abu Basir said: 'I asked Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) about a man who forgets to say the iqamah for prayer until his prayer is finished.' The Imam said: 'He does not repeat his prayer, and he should not go back for such a thing (or he does not repeat for such things)!'

📚 Al-Tahdhib, Vol. 2, p. 285

Zurarah said: 'I asked Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) about a man who forgets the adhan and iqamah until he enters the prayer.' The Imam said: 'He should continue his prayer and pass on, for the adhan is a sunnah (recommended)!'

📚 Al-Tahdhib, Vol. 2, p. 285

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said about a man who forgets the adhan and iqamah until he enters the prayer: 'There is nothing on him!'

✅ In the three narrations above and others, it is clear that if a person forgets the adhan and iqamah, he can continue his prayer, and there is no necessary thing on him, and it is recommended that he not go back for this matter.

✅ However, even though there is no necessary and obligatory duty on the person in case of forgetting the adhan and iqamah, he can, according to what he has forgotten from the adhan or iqamah or both and according to the time he remembers it, act upon the appropriate narration, some of which are mentioned below:

📚 Al-Tahdhib, Vol. 2, p. 278

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'If you begin the prayer and forget to say the adhan and iqamah and you remember before going into the ruku' of the (first) rak'ah, turn away from the prayer and say the adhan and iqamah and begin the prayer again. And if you have gone into ruku', continue and complete the prayer!'

📚 Al-Tahdhib, Vol. 2, p. 278

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said about a man who forgets the adhan and iqamah until he enters the prayer: 'If he remembers before he recites, he should send salutations upon the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) and say the iqamah (and continue the prayer). And if he has recited (has entered into recitation), he should complete and continue his prayer!'

📚 Al-Istibsar, Vol. 1, p. 304

Zakariyya ibn Adam said: 'I said to Imam Ridha (peace be upon him): 'May I be sacrificed for you, I am in my prayer and in the second rak'ah while I am reciting, I remember that I did not say the iqamah, so what should I do?' He said: 'Keep silent in that place of your recitation and say: 'Qad qamati al-salat, qad qamati al-salat' and then continue your prayer and your recitation, and your prayer is complete!'

✅ It is clear that according to the first three hadiths and others, acting upon hadiths 4, 5, and 6 is not obligatory and necessary, but the person can also act upon these three hadiths in their proper place in case of forgetting the adhan and iqamah. Insha'Allah.
