What should a person do who wishes to be among the companions and supporters of Imam al-Zaman (may Allah hasten his reappearance)?

1 ابی حمزه عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ علیه السلام قَالَ قال رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلی الله علیه و آله: طُوبَی لِمَنْ أَدْرَکَ قَائِمَ أَهْلِ بَیْتِی وَ هُوَ یَأْتَمُّ بِهِ فِی غَیْبَتِهِ قَبْلَ قِیَامِهِ وَ یَتَوَلَّی أَوْلِیَاءَهُ وَ یُعَادِی أَعْدَاءَهُ ذَاکَ مِنْ رُفَقَائِی وَ ذَوِی مَوَدَّتِی وَ أَکْرَمِ أُمَّتِی عَلَیَّ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَةِ

Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) said: 'Blessed is the one who meets the riser (al-Qa'im) of my household, having followed him during his absence before his reappearance. He loves his friends and is an enemy to his enemies. Such a person is among my companions and friends and is the most honored of people to me on the Day of Judgment!'

2 ابی بصیر عَنْ أَبِی عَبْداللَّهِ علیه السلام: أَنَّهُ قَال مَنْ سُرَّ أَنْ یَکُونَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الْقَائِمِ فَلْیَنْتَظِرْ وَ لْیَعْمَلْ بِالْوَرَعِ وَ مَحَاسِنِ الْأَخْلَاقِ وَ هُوَ مُنْتَظِرٌ فَإِنْ مَاتَ وَ قَامَ الْقَائِمُ بَعْدَهُ کَانَ لَهُ مِنَ الْأَجْرِ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ مَنْ أَدْرَکَهُ فَجِدُّوا وَ انْتَظِرُوا هَنِیئاً لَکُمْ أَیَّتُهَا الْعِصَابَةُ الْمَرْحُومَةُ

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever wishes to be among the companions of al-Qa'im (peace be upon him) must wait, practice piety, and have good manners while waiting. If he dies and al-Qa'im (peace be upon him) reappears after him, he will have the reward of one who met him. So strive and wait. May it be pleasant for you, O group who have been shown mercy!'

3 أَبِی بصِیر قال قال أَبُو عبداللَّهِ علیه السلام: لِیُعِدَّنَّ أَحَدُکُمْ لِخُرُوجِ الْقَائِمِ وَ لَوْ سَهْماً فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ إِذَا عَلِمَ ذَلِکَ مِنْ نِیَّتِهِ رَجَوْتُ لِأَنْ یُنْسِئَ فِی عُمُرِهِ حَتَّی یُدْرِکَهُ وَ یَکُونَ مِنْ أَعْوَانِهِ وَ أَنْصَارِه

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'Every one of you must prepare something for the advent of al-Qa'im (peace be upon him), even if it is a single arrow. For when Allah knows this from his intention, I hope that He will delay his death so that he may meet him and be among his supporters and helpers!'

4 عَنِ الصَّادِقِ علیه السلام: مَنْ قَالَ بَعْدَ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ وَ بَعْدَ صَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَجِّلْ فَرَجَهُمْ لَمْ یَمُتْ حَتَّی یُدْرِکَ الْقَائِمَ مِنْ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ صلی الله علیه و آله

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever says after the Fajr prayer and after the Dhuhr prayer:'

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَجِّلْ فَرَجَهُمْ

'O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, and hasten their reappearance, and destroy their enemy from among jinn and humans, from among the first and the last.'

5 جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّد الصَّادِق علیه السلام أَنَّهُ قَالَ: مَنْ دَعَا إِلَی اللَّهِ أَرْبَعِینَ صَبَاحاً بِهَذَا الْعَهْدِ کَانَ مِنْ أَنْصَارِ قَائِمِنَا فَإِنْ مَاتَ قَبْلَهُ أَخْرَجَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَی مِنْ قَبْرِهِ وَ أَعْطَاهُ بِکُلِّ کَلِمَةٍ أَلْفَ حَسَنَةٍ وَ مَحَا عَنْهُ أَلْفَ سَیِّئَةٍ وَ هُوَ هَذَا

'He will not die until he meets al-Qa'im of the family of Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family)!'

6 جابر قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَاجَعْفَرٍ يَقُولُ مَنْ قَرَأَ الْمُسَبِّحَاتِ كُلَّهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَنَامَ لَمْ يَمُتْ حَتَّى يُدْرِكَ الْقَائِمَ وَ إِنْ مَاتَ كَانَ فِي جِوَارِ مُحَمَّدٍ

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever recites this covenant for forty mornings will be among the supporters of our al-Qa'im. If he dies before him, Allah will bring him forth from his grave, and with every word, He will grant him a thousand good deeds and erase a thousand bad deeds from him.' Then the Imam mentioned the well-known prayer known as the 'Du'a al-Ahd' ...

📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 2, p. 620

Jabir said: I heard Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) say: 'Whoever recites the Surahs of the Musabbihat before sleeping will not die until he meets al-Qa'im (peace be upon him), and if he dies, he will be in the proximity of Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family)!'

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever recites Surah Bani Isra'il (i.e., Surah Al-Isra) every Friday night will not die until he meets al-Qa'im (peace be upon him) and is among his companions!'
