Answer

📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 6

Marazim said: I saw Imam Kadhim (peace be upon him) when he washed his hands before eating, he would not dry them with a towel, and when he washed his hands after eating, he would dry them with a towel!

📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 6

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: 'When you wash your hands for eating, do not wipe a towel on your hand (do not dry your hand), for as long as there is moisture in the hand, there will always be blessings in the food!'

📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 6

Mufaddal said: I entered upon Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) and complained to him about an eye ailment; so the Imam said to me: 'Do you want something new and amazing?!' Then he said to me: 'When you have washed your hands after eating, wipe them on your eyebrows and say three times:

Mufaddal said: 'I did this, and after that, thanks to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, my eye did not hurt!''

📚 Al-Mahasin, p. 426

A person said: On the day Imam Jawad (peace be upon him) came to Medina, a group ate breakfast with him. So when he washed his hands from the grease, he wiped them on his head and face before drying them with a towel and said:

✅ So when washing hands before eating, we do not dry them, and after eating, after wiping the eyebrows and head and face and reciting the narrated supplications, we dry them.

As for the order of washing hands in a group, which was done with a basin and a ewer, please pay attention to the following narrations:

📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 6

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him): 'For washing hands before food, the owner of the food should wash his hand first so that no one feels embarrassed, but when they are finished with the food, it begins with the one sitting on the right side of the door, whether free or a slave!'

6️⃣ Barqi narrated the above hadith, except that for the end of the meal, he brought:

Translation: 'So when he is finished with the food, (for washing hands) he should begin with the one sitting on the left side of the owner of the house, and the last one to wash his hands should be the owner of the house, for he is more deserving of patience with the grease, and at that time, if he wishes, he can dry his hand with a towel!'

📚 Al-Mahasin, p. 426

📚 Al-Kafi, Vol. 6, p. 291

Kulayni said: In another hadith, it is stated: '(Before eating) the first one who washes his hands should be the owner of the house, and then it begins with the one on his right. So when the food is removed, it begins with the one on the left of the owner of the house, and the last one to wash his hand is the owner of the house, for he is more deserving of patience with the grease!'

8️⃣ Imam Baqir (peace be upon him): 'The owner of the house is the first of all to wash his hands before food and the last of all after food!'
