1 عَنْ أَمِیرِ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ علیه السلام قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَی النَّبِیِّ صلی الله علیه و آله فَقَالَ عَلِّمْنِی عَمَلًا یُحِبُّنِی اللَّهُ عَلَیْهِ وَ یُحِبُّنِی الْمَخْلُوقُونَ وَ یُثْرِی اللَّهُ مَالِی وَ یُصِحُّ بَدَنِی وَ یُطِیلُ عُمُرِی وَ یَحْشُرُنِی مَعَکَ قَالَ هَذِهِ سِتُّ خِصَالٍ تَحْتَاجُ إِلَی سِتِّ خِصَالٍ إِذَا أَرَدْتَ أَنْ یُحِبَّکَ اللَّهُ فَخَفْهُ وَ اتَّقِهِ وَ إِذَا أَرَدْتَ أَنْ یُحِبَّکَ الْمَخْلُوقُونَ فَأَحْسِنْ إِلَیْهِمْ وَ ارْفُضْ مَا فِی أَیْدِیهِمْ وَ إِذَا أَرَدْتَ أَنْ یُثْرِیَ اللَّهُ مَالَکَ فَزَکِّهِ وَ إِذَا أَرَدْتَ أَنْ یُصِحَّ اللَّهُ بَدَنَکَ فَأَکْثِرْ مِنَ الصَّدَقَةِ وَ إِذَا أَرَدْتَ أَنْ یُطِیلَ اللَّهُ عُمُرَکَ فَصِلْ ذَوِی أَرْحَامِکَ وَ إِذَا أَرَدْتَ أَنْ یَحْشُرَکَ اللَّهُ مَعِی فَأَطِلِ السُّجُودَ بَیْنَ یَدَیِ اللَّهِ الْوَاحِدِ الْقَهَّارِ.

Amir al-Mu'minin (peace be upon him) said: 'A man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) and said: 'Teach me a deed by which Allah will love me, and the people will love me, and Allah will increase my wealth, and keep my body in good health, and prolong my life, and resurrect me with you!'

The Prophet said: 'These are six qualities that require six actions:

1. If you want Allah to love you, then fear Him and be pious towards Him!

2. And if you want people to love you, then be good to them and reject what is in their hands!

3. And if you want Allah to increase your wealth, then give the zakat of your wealth!

4. And if you want Allah to keep your body in good health, then give a lot of charity!

5. And if you want Allah to prolong your life, then maintain kinship ties with your relatives!

6. And if you want Allah to resurrect you with me, then prolong your prostration before Allah, the One, the Subduer!'
