Answer

✅Answer:

📚 Al-Kafi Vol. 2, p. 493

Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: Any prayer by which Allah, the Almighty, is called upon is veiled from the heavens until blessings (salawat) are sent upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad!

📚 Al-Kafi Vol. 2, p. 493

Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: A man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) and said: I have designated one-third of my prayer for you! So the Prophet spoke kindly about him.

He said: I have designated half of my prayer for you! The Prophet said to him: This is better!

He said again: I have designated all of my prayer for you!

The Prophet said: In that case, Allah, the Almighty, will suffice you for the important matters of your worldly life and the hereafter!

Then a man said to the Imam: May Allah improve your affairs, how did he designate his prayer for him?

So Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: He did not ask Allah, the Almighty, for anything except that he began with blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad!

📚 Al-Kafi Vol. 2, p. 491

Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: A prayer remains veiled until blessings are sent upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad!

📚 Al-Kafi Vol. 2, p. 491

Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: The prayer of one who prays but does not mention the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) flutters above his head, but when he remembers the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family), the prayer ascends!

📚 Al-Kafi Vol. 2, p. 492

Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) said: Do not treat me like the drinking cup of a horseman, for a horseman fills his cup and drinks whenever he wants. Place me at the beginning of the prayer, and in the middle of the prayer, and at the end of the prayer!

📚 Al-Kafi Vol. 2, p. 494

Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: Whoever has a need from Allah, should begin with blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, then ask for his need, and then conclude it with blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad. For Allah, the Almighty, is too noble to accept the two ends of the prayer and abandon its middle, since blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad are not veiled from Him!

📚 Amali al-Tusi Vol. 1, p. 175

Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: When one of you prays, he must begin with blessings upon the Prophet, for blessings upon the Prophet are accepted, and it is not possible for Allah to accept part of the prayer and reject part of it!

✅ The importance and necessity of sending blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad during prayer is clear in the above narrations and many other narrations.
